A private, one-to-one yoga session in The Calm Space, my cosy yoga studio and holistic therapies treatment space in my family garden, is ideal if you crave the opportunity to learn and practise yoga in a more personalised setting compared to a community class. If you’re in need of some real time-out and self care join me at The Calm Space. Sessions are tailored to you, your body, your needs. If you’re just starting out on your yoga journey, one-to-one sessions can really help teach you the basics - you get my complete attention and detailed guidance. If you’re a yoga pro, private sessions can really help deepen your practise, knowledge and connection to this ancient art.

I teach different styles of yoga and can coach you where you’re at right now… need a chair for support? No problem. Feeling stressed and wired? No worries - we’ll focus on deep rest. Need to move, energise and stretch? Let’s practise yoga flow.

If you’re struggling with menopause or peri-menopause symptoms, yoga can be especially useful and I can give you tools such as breathwork and relaxation techniques to help you manage menopause anxiety, stress, overwhelm and rage. Gentle movement is of course, beneficial at all stages of life, and can be useful in peri-to-post menopause to keep our bodies mobile and strong.

How to Book

One session of yoga is a wonderful introduction. I always recommend booking a package of four, so you can delve in and get a better insight into whether yoga is what you need right now. Want to make it a regular session? Packages save you £5 each time. Yoga sessions can be combined with holistic rituals to give you the ultimate few hours of calm, peace and relaxation. Please note, The Calm Space is for women only and as such private sessions are only available to women.

  • The Yoga Ritual: Movement, Breath, Stillness - 60 mins - £50

    Every one-to-one yoga session in The Calm Space is tailored exactly to your needs. We learn full, conscious breathing and mindful movement, culminating in rest. Yoga helps calm the nervous system, releases stress and encourages a greater connection with oneself. This ritual is ideal as a way to try yoga for the first time or to enhance or deepen your existing practise. Receive expert guidance, bespoke to your body. Packages are available, saving you £5 per session.

  • The Restorative Yoga Ritual: Stress Release & Deep Relaxation - 60 mins - £50

    Restorative yoga is a relaxation practise that helps you root down, ground yourself and find stillness. Minimal movement is involved as you rest in each gentle pose for 5-10 minutes, supported in a floor-lying position with multiple props, blankets and pillows to help you fully surrender. If you struggle to switch off, feel overwhelmed/stressed, find sleep difficult, or just need some time for you - this practise will lift you up and help slow down a busy mind. Packages are available, saving £5 per session

  • The Yoga Nidra Ritual: Stress Release & Deep Relaxation - 60 mins

    'Yoga Nidra' is an ancient relaxation practise where your brain begins to move into a deeper level of consciousness, taking you out of 'fight or flight' and into complete calm. You'll rest on comfortable mats and cushions on the floor in a cosy nest (can also be practised seated). I'll guide you to slow down your breathing and my gentle voice will lead you to unwind and let go of stress, as your mind remains awake and aware - receptive to messages of healing. Packages also available - save £5 per session.

  • Menopause Yoga One-to-One Ritual - 75 mins

    Yoga can support us as we journey through peri-menopause and menopause, the autumn and winter seasons of our lives. In Menopause Yoga we learn tools to help manage symptoms such as hot flushes, rage, stress and sleep deprivation. Breathwork helps calm the mind. Movement helps ease tightness and aches in the body. Relaxation helps regulate the nervous system. You'll leave this specially tailored, one-to-one session feeling uplifted, calm and balanced. Packages available.

  • Yoga / Yoga Nidra / Restorative Yoga Rituals x 4 sessions

    Buy four one-to-one sessions and use them for any type of yoga at The Calm Space - however you feel we work with that, maybe you need a good rest? We practise Restorative Yoga or Yoga Nidra (or both!). Need to move and stretch? We focus on yoga flow. Most beneficial when taken as a course of four weeks. Please purchase your package and use your credits to book in.
